SOMATOM Scope delivers crystal clear images across a wide range of clinical applications. At the core of this innovative CT is a 24-row adaptive detector array that collects 16 slices of data simultaneously, with sub-millimeter isotropic accuracy. This cost-efficient scanner delivers outstanding image quality, at the right dose.
Was designed to lower costs by minimizing overall energy consumption. The scanner has low power requirements, and includes numerous innovative energy-saving features. In addition, thanks to its low heat output, less air conditioning is needed. All this adds up to up to 65%* energy savings compared to previous-generation scanners.

The refurbished Siemens SOMATOM Scope 16-channel CT Scanner is a cost-efficient whole body scanner designed with a compact design for tighter spaces, while providing user-friendly automation technologies for efficient workflow.

While providing great image quality, the used SOMATOM Scope is designed for efficient workflow, better image optimization and automatic detection of anatomy.

Its FAST (Fully Assisting Scanner Technologies) workflows are designed to optimize the entire imaging process. This includes FAST Planning and FAST Spine to help streamline the preparation process. FAST Spine detects and labels vertebrae within a designated scan area and calculates their position within approximately 30 seconds. FAST Planning software automatically detects defined ranges and reduces exam time by eliminating the need for manual adjustments.

The eCockpit Suite (including eStart, eMode and eSleep) provide protection to the scanner and extending its life by reducing cold starts, offering a sleep mode to reduce wear-and-tear and balancing the balance between dosage, image quality and efficiency.

The 16-channel SOMATOM Scope also includes IRIS (Iterative Reconstruction in Image Space), which accelerates image reconstruction while reducing image noise.

To reduce exposure to the patient, the Scope includes CARE (Combined Applications to Reduce Exposure), which is a comprehensive set of applications designed to identify the correct dose for each imaging requirement.
